Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Brilliant magenta dahlias peek from beneath sunlit leaves.
This watercolor painting was done with many transparent layers of blue, green, pink, yellow and purple hues. I used the brightest and most vibrant colors in my palette. The deep shadows required at least a dozen layers to create the illusion of depth.
The photo references were taken at the CSU botanical garden in Fort Collins, Colorado. These beautiful grounds have a huge variety of colorful flowers. Great in spring and summer, it's a peaceful place to walk and enjoy the lovely floral scenery
According to my Mother I started drawing before I started walking or talking. I never stopped. I spent a number of years as an illustrator doing over a hundred book and magazine covers and illustrating half a dozen children's picture books. Under the name Victoria Poyser I won two fan (amateur) art Hugos in the field of Science Fiction art. Some of my illustrations and fine art pieces were done in collaboration with my husband and fellow artist Julius Lisi. The works here on FAA are all my own work. I teach drawing, painting, watercolor and figure drawing at Aims Community College in Loveland, Colorado. I taught illustration at Western Connecticut State University for six years. It's hard for me to decide what I love...
